Not Perfect, But Still Chosen

Let’s be real for a second.

We don’t always get it right.
Some days, we’re doing our best just to make it through without breaking down.
We lose our patience. We slip up. We say things we wish we could take back.
And sometimes… we fall right back into the things we swore we were done with.

But even in all of that — God hasn’t changed His mind about you.

That’s what I love about Him.
He’s not looking for perfection.
He’s looking for your heart.

You can stumble 10 times, cry out to Him on the 11th, and He’s still going to say,
“I’ve been right here, daughter.”

“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.”
— Romans 3:23 (NLT)

He already knew we’d mess up. That’s why Jesus came.
So stop disqualifying yourself from a race that grace already qualified you for.

You ever notice how the enemy gets real loud after you mess up?
“See, you’re not really changed.”
“God can’t use someone like you.”
“You knew better.”

Lies.
Every single one.

“Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.”
— Psalm 37:24 (NLT)

We don’t fall out of His love just because we slipped.
We don’t lose our purpose because we had a bad day or a weak moment.

And honestly? Sometimes the fight to stay focused on God is daily.
But that’s okay — because He sees the fight.
He sees the heart behind the struggle.

“Let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus…”
— Hebrews 12:1-2 (NLT)

So I don’t care if today was hard, if yesterday was messy, or if this week you felt like giving up —
Don’t stop looking toward Him.
Even if you’re crawling, even if your prayers are silent tears — just don’t stop.

God’s not expecting you to have it all together.
He just wants you to keep coming back to Him.

You’re not perfect.
But you’re still His.
Still chosen.
Still called.
Still becoming the woman He’s shaping you to be.

Keep going. You’ve got this — and He’s got you.

Love,

Cassie
